Culture Heritage Documentation
The unique Cultural Heritage of the world tells the story of humanity itself. It is a window into who we are as people and must therefore, be preserved and protected for all generations to come. Our team of researchers work diligently to tap into cultural studies and document their different way of living, beliefs, and customs. Ikiringo produce and archive documentary films and many short videos for thought-provoking and awareness.
Culture Tourism
Travelers seek for history, art, native science & beliefs, unique lifestyle, Music, local heritage, customs & traditions, adventure, food, unspoiled environments, uniqueness of people and authenticity. People admire traveling to appreciate the cultural differences accompanied by interesting and big stories. Ikiringo has developed cultural attractions in Rwanda, camps in Tanzania, with a plan to expand to other Sub-Saharan Countries and empower our communities while experiencing the beautiful cultural uniqueness In Africa.
Culture Events
Ikiringo Africa involves showcasing local dances from different tribes or communities. We do this by planning major Ikiringo Cultural Nights for the local tribes and communities and Ikiringo Annual Festivals that bring together various local cultures of the Sub-Saharan Africa.
Culture Fashion
Our main goals are; (i) creating Sub-Saharan multicultural infused fashion pieces and cultural monuments preservation hubs for cultural dances at risk of disappearing. (ii) Providing job readiness programs for local entrepreneurs to expand their array of knowledge and ensure world-class quality material production inspired by local cultures. Ikiringo builds on the made in Africa spirit and intends to work with different sub-Saharan Africa fashion designers and culture preservation institutes to promote local entrepreneurs and create jobs.
Cultural Dance Academy
The African traditional dance is a way of Expressing the values of the society more than that of individuals or couples. Through an authentic portrayal of local dances”. We offer dance classes for all ages and skill levels! We have Ikinyemera, Ikinimba, Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical, Tumbling, Pilates, etc. If you don't see something that fits your needs let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you! The courses are delivered both in-person at Rwanda Art Museum or virtually. Our Trainers have over 20 years’ experience sharing and teaching about the African culture heritage. We not only dance but we explain the history behind every dance. We have developed frameworks which illustrate how stories are told through movement. Our digital learning products serve our aim of building global harmony through music, gamification and virtual experiences. Designed to suit a range of year levels and are ideal for remote learning, each platform contains lesson plans created by leading curriculum experts and teachers, interactive educational games, music and other activities.
Cultural Artifacts
Almost all cultures have their unique custom-made artifacts with stories behind that they tell. Ikiringo Africa, in this regard, collects these art pieces and creating job opportunities for communities these materials are made through earned profits at the same time.
